2023 CATEGORIES
Here are a list of the categories that venues can enter and the general public can vote for. Businesses with the most votes in each category will be independently judged.
2023 SPICE AWARDS CATEGORIES
- Best Indian Restaurant (this category is for venues offering a dine-in option)
- Best Indian Takeaway (this category is for venues offering a takeaway option)
- Best Buffet Restaurant (this category is for venues with a buffet offering in a SPICE category)
- Best Asian Restaurant (this category is for venues offering a dine-in option)
- Best Asian Take-away (this category is for venues offering a takeaway option)
- Best Chef (this category is to give your Chef the spotlight. If your Chef reaches the final they will be expected to attend a Cook-Off in Glasgow on 22nd August 2023)
- Best Family Friendly Restaurant (this category is for venues who welcome and cater for children)
- Best Restaurant Manager (this category gives your Restaurant manager the spotlight)
- Best Family Business (this category highlights a business that is run by a family together)
- Best Team (this category allows you to the highlight the team in your venue)
- Best Multiple Operator (this category is for venues who have more than 2 restaurants )
- Best Peri Peri Venue (this new category is for those dine-in or takeaway restaurants offering a Peri Peri selection)
- Scottish Curry Championships – Scotland’s Best Curry (Back for another year – enter your favourite curry in to the championships. This will be judged in a cook-off environment in Glasgow on 22nd August 2023)
