We're thrilled to announce the return of the Spice Awards 2027, celebrating the very best of Asian and Indian cuisine across Scotland.

Now in our ninth year, the Spice Awards honour the talent, dedication, and passion of the food businesses that bring flavour and culture to communities across the country. Our annual event is driven by public support, making it one of the most trusted and inclusive culinary competitions in Scotland.

Registration for 2027 is now open. Date and venue to be confirmed.

Each year, we open our independent online voting campaign to the public, inviting food lovers from across Scotland to cast their votes for their favourite local and national businesses. The businesses with the most votes in each category will move on to the final round.

All participating businesses must register to ensure we have accurate contact details and can keep you informed throughout the competition. Once registered, it is over to your customers — their votes will decide who advances to the final.

Finalists will undergo a judging process tailored to their category. This may include a visit from our esteemed independent judges or submission of supporting documentation. All visits by judges are complimentary, and their decision is final.

Winners will be revealed at our renowned Gala Final in Glasgow, a night to remember as we crown Scotland’s favourite Asian and Indian culinary champions.
